☐ update your three year plan – what are your professional, personal and financial goals?
☐ develop your 2015 budget (don’t forget things like dues, professional memberships, supplies, client gifts and meals, and remember a monthly marketing allowance)
☐ develop a revenue forecast – how much money do you plan to earn in each month of 2015? how will you get there?
☐ meet with your financial planner or tax advisor to discuss your 2015 financial goals
☐ reevaluate life insurance needs, retirement and savings goals
☐ meet with your vendors to discuss how you can support each other – think lenders, title and maintenance professionals
☐ clean up your email database – add recent contacts, clients and vendors
☐ send a handwritten note or token of your gratitude to previous, current and prospective clients at the new year after the volume of holiday mail decreases, share your plans for the year and how you plan to continue earning their business
☐ evaluate which marketing techniques worked this year? which didn’t?
☐ audit your marketing – is your brand consistent across your website, social media, emails and print materials?
☐ make continuing education plans – what gaps in knowledge will you need to bridge?
☐ check in with the Department of Real Estate – are you in good standing? do you need more continuing ed hours?
☐ meet with your Broker to discuss your annual goals – how can they support you?
