Hi DDP Family! Homeward Bound is so delighted to be receiving such wonderful support from Lisa, Joe and all their clients at Desert Dimensions Properties. The “Young At Heart” event at the Phoenix Children’s Museum is sure to be a great time and we are looking forward to meeting each and every one of you and letting you know about the work our agency is doing in the community!
As you may know, Homeward Bound provides transitional housing and comprehensive social services to families with children fleeing domestic violence and/or homelessness. We believe not only in stopping domestic violence and homelessness, but in putting an end to them completely! Through individualized case management, employment services, life skills classes and lots of encouragement, we work to empower our families and guide them toward lives of self-reliance.
We are fortunate to have this community supporting our endeavors. It is because of all the hands-on assistance, donations and drives that we are able to run such a successful non-profit and reach so many fragile Arizona families.
I encourage you all to take a look at our website at www.HomewardBoundAZ.org – get acquainted with our program, check out the awesome fundraising events we host, and flip through some of the pictures of volunteer projects we have posted. These are just tiny snapshots of a much bigger mural that makes our agency what it is. If you are interested in taking a tour, please contact Mariah Buckley at 602.374.8753 or email m.buckley@HomewardBoundAZ.org.
See you September 22nd!
